Veerateswarar Thirukovil - Birth place of Vaasthu shastra

Vaasthu shasthra is an ancient science of constructing any building to align it according to nature to get more benefits.There is a temple which is a birth place of this ancient science.The temple is called as Veerateswarar kovil.The temple is situated in Thirukovilur in vilupuram district.The amman here is called as sivanantha valli.The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.
