   The first sub period in mercury dasa is mercury bhukti.To avoid problems caused by mercury, one has to plant (Artocarpus integrifolia) pala maram according to virutcha shastra.It is called பலா மரம் in tamil. The plant has to be planted on first wednesday morning in mercury dasa mercury bhukti period.Before one day of plantation, little bit of green gram should be immersed in water.After plantation the green gram should be served to the plant.The green gram should be given to goat.The pala tree can be planted on temple garden, garden in public charities and temple garden.  

    In jupiter dasa, mars bhukti will be the eigth sub period.For avoiding ill effects of jupiter placed in unfavorable places in one's astrological chart, one has to plant pala maram ( Artocarpus integrifolia ) in public places, road sides, around  the house and temples as described in virutcha shastra.It is called  பலா   மரம் in Tamil. The plant has to be planted on first tuesday of jupiter dasa mars bhukti.A day before plantation, little bit of lentils should be immersed in water.The next day pala maram should be planted and lentil water should be served to the plant.Lentils should be given to goat.
