A temple is a structure reserved for religious or spiritual activities, such as prayer and sacrifice..A temple is a repository of unbounded peace which no man can buy. The word has now become quite widely used to describe a house of worship for any number of religions and is even used for time periods prior to the Romans.

What is special about Temples in India?

Temples in India are built according to Vaasthu shastra.Vaasthu shaastra is an ancient traditional architectural science born and developed in India which deals with the architectural and engineering needs of any structure. Basic of all vaasthu principles is to give a comfortable path to human kind to reach ultimate reality by protecting from natural calamities and disturbances and all evil force.
