     In moon dasa, the last sub period is sun bhukti. According to virutcha shastra one has to plant marutha maram in public places, temples,river beds or in garden.It is called மருத மரம் in tamil.

 one day before the plantation little bit of wheat should be immersed in water.The plant should be planted on first Thursday morning of moon dasa jupiter bhukti period.After the plantation of karungali maram, the wheat water should be served to the plant. The wheat should be given to cow.

    In moon dasa, the third sub period is rahu bhukti.According to virutcha shastra one has to plant Malai vembu (Melia composita wild) in public places, temples,river beds or in garden.It is called மலை வேம்பு  in tamil.

 one day before the plantation little bit of blackgram should be immersed in water.The plant should be planted on first tuesday morning of moon dasa rahu bhukti period.After the plantation of malai vembu, the blackgram water should be served to the plant. The black gram should be given to cow.

     In moon dasa, the second sub period is mars bhukti.According to virutcha shastra one has to plant Atthi maram (Ficus glomerata) in public places, temples,river beds or in garden.It is called அத்தி மரம் in tamil.

 one day before the plantation little bit of yellow lentils should be immersed in water.The plant should be planted on first tuesday morning of moon dasa mars bhukti period.After the plantation of atthi maram, the yellow lentils water should be served to the plant. The yellow lentils should be given to cow.

During this period if moon is not placed in favourable places in one's astrological chart one has to plant Nagalinga maram (Couroupita guianensis) according to virutcha shastra.In tamil it is called as நாகலிங்க மரம் .
