Akilandeswari iravatheswarar temple

 

Akilandeswari iravatheswarar temple is situated in a place called pallasoolakarai near mallapuram in oothankarai in krishnagiri district of tamilnadu. 

This is an ancient temple where chola king raja raja chola got dharshan of lord siva after doing penance. 

Siddhar karuvurar also stayed here. After visiting this temple king raja raja chola started building tanjore big temple. This is a such a divine place where all siddhars bless people. Pancha pandavar had worshipped here for removing their sins. 

People who feed other living thing before sunset and after sunset will get punya. This is revealed by sage  agasthiyar.
