In ancient days, after a death in one's family, members of the family will start visiting more and more temples for helping the member of the family who had attained death to attain a good status in the divine plane. This will be a success only if more punya is in the family lineage. Now this habit is decreasing and it will result in a dosha called binnakudamam causing health problems to the family members.This will be removed only by making more visits to temples than ever before as ancestors blessings are very important.
