Balasubramanya swami temple - Andaar kuppam

A single idol can change in to different forms in different periods of a day.Lord  murugan in andaarkuppam can be seen in three forms during morning, midday and evening.

In thiruvallur district of tamil nadu, lord muruga can be worshipped as a child in the morning, as a youngster in midnoon and as a old man in evening.Lord muruga here is called athikara murugan as this is the place where lord muruga blessed his devotees in the form called "aandikola murugan". People who want to get a job with more authority and people who want children with good knowledge worship lord muruga here.

Here lord murga can be seen on a lion and peacock can also be seen above the lion which is the vehicle of Goddess parvathi. Milk  abhisegam and santhana kaappu are offered by devotees after fulfillment of wishes.

This temple is situated on the  way to ponneri from koyambedu bus stand at a distance of 40 kms near aandaar kuppam.From there one has to travel 1 km to reach the temple.
