The fourth sub period in Venus dasa is mars bhukti.To avoid any bad effects due to ill placement of mars one has to plant nagalinga maram (Couroupita guianensis). It is called நாகலிங்க மரம் in tamil.

The plant has to be planted in first tuesday morning of venus dasa mars sub period.The plant can be planted in places like temple garden, sides of pond and garden in public charities.A day before plantation little bit of lentils should be immersed in water.After plantation lentils water should be given to the plant.Lentils should be given to goat.
