Lord siva and dhashinamurthy are worshipped on thursdays for good education as devotees worship both of them by offering yellow clothes.

This temple is situated at a distance of 32 kms from cuddalore.One has to reach banrutti which is 24 kms away .From there one has to tarvel 8 kms further to reach this temple.
