   Lord Ganesh is the first diety worshipped before the start of anything that is  auspicious. By worshipping Lord Ganesha one can remove all kinds of obstacles from his life.During vinayagar chathurthi, one should follow particular worship method to get benefits of Lord Ganesh

  1. For removing obstacles in Marriage - make idol of Lord Ganesh using Yellow turmeric  and worship it.
  2. For removing obstacles in Job  issues - make idol of Lord Ganesh using Soil and worship it.
  3. For removing obstacles in getting profit in Business - make idol of Lord Ganesh using putru mann (soil where snake is living ) and worship it.
  4. For removing obstacles for good living - make idol of Lord Ganesh using vellam (a sweet material extracted from sugarcane) and worship it.
  5. For winning over your enemies - make idol of Lord Ganesh using Salt and worship it.
  6. For getting knowledge - worship vellerukku vinayagar
  7. For all purposes - make idol of Lord Ganesh using cow dung and worship it.
  8. For curing all diseases - make idol of Lord Ganesh using Butter and worship it.
