Marundeeswarar Temple - Garlands for Marriage


Temples which have lingam facing west and amman temple facing east are said to be having special qualities as more people were fixing marriages in these temple as these are very powerful in nature removing all hurdles in marriage.

A temple called marundeeswarar temple situated a place called t.idayaru in villupuram district is one such temple.This temple is said to be more than 2000 years old.Amman is called gnanambigai.

Speciality:

People who are unmarried for longer periods come here and offer abhisegam and exchange garlands for amman and lord siva and take them back home to get married soon.

People can find parrots everywhere in this temple as sage sugabramma rishi had worshipped lord siva here.

This temple is situated on the route of thirukovilur to vilupuram via thiruvennainallur.One has to get down at edayar  pillayar bus stop to reach this temple.
