Nedungalanathar Temple - Pradosha pooja for marriage

Every siva temple in india has its own special pooja timings generally.But if it is pradosha pooja 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm is the time schedule followed  in ninety five percent of temples.Pradosha pooja is very special as lord siva and nandhi worship is specially conducted.Monthly 2 times devotees who cannot visit temples due to wordk shedules visit pradosha pooja to offer their prayers.

A temple in a place called thiru nedungalam in trichy district is so famous for pradosha pooja as  people worship lord siva and amman for removing the obstacles in marriage.This temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.

Speciality : Amman is called as mangalanbigai.Agasthiar theertham  is special here as water is always present even in dry summer seasons.People offer abhisegam and clothes to lord siva and amman for fulfilling their prayers.This temple is situated in trichy to thanjavur road near a place called thuvakudi at a distance of 18 kms. From there one has to travel 3 kms to reach this temple.
