A temple called someswarar temple in kumbakonam near kumbeswarar kovil in thanjavur district is having an installation of one lakh panchatchara mantras containing the mantra "sivaya nama".The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.

Kalyanavinayagar in this temple is so special such that unmarried women pray for 11 monday's continuously to get married soon. Worship of lord siva on monday and thursday is said to be beneficial here.
