The temple is situated around thirunallaru, famous temple for navagraga saturn.On the way to a place called thirumarugal which is situated on the route of nagapattinam to nagur, a stone laid for directing devotees can be found which has the name seeyathamangai inscribed on it.From there one has to travel 1 km in opposite direction to reach this temple.
