Sathyagreeswarar Thirukovil - Rudrabhishegam

  Those who are affected by diseases and those who are having dosha of any kind can do rudrabhishegam and it is done in a temple called sathyagreeswarar temple situated in Thiruparangundram.Usually it is done for lord siva and here it is done to dakshinamoorthy.The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.


Rudrabhishegam is said to be very special and basically this temple is a siva temple and later lord muruga has been given importance.Any one can see white peacocks here and it is said sages had taken the form of peacocks to be here with lord muruga.
