    A Temple that answers all types of prayers with 1000 pillars as a special one with natarajar in the center is Madurai meenakshi amman temple.The temple is world famous.Idol of amman has been in maragatham. Amman is called as meenakshi as she is having her eyes like a fish to give blessings to the devotess. This is the place where lord siva had danced with right leg instead of regular left leg.This temple is an excellent place for meditation.Temple is said to be more than 2000 years old.




Lord siva has created 64 thiruvilayadal in this place. 14 Gopuram and 5 entry ways are there in this temple.The temple is the first sakthi peedam.Speciality of this temple is 3 crore art works are installed only in this temple.
