Ekambaranathar Temple - relief for unknown faults

Usually people sometimes unknowingly do something that cause major problems in other people's life.People usually curse other people for this and a temple called ekambaranathar temple in kanchipuram situated at a walking distance from bus stand provides relief.The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.

Lingam of siva installed here is very special as goddess parvathi, wife of lord siva had maked it from sand.It is called manal lingam in tamil language.Another lingam and nandhi made of spadigam is also there.Lord ekambaranathar idol is in a room made of glass under a rudraksha panthal made of 5008 rudrakshas is said to be blessing people who pray to avoid rebirth.

Lord siva here blesses the devotees with a child if they eat a mango from a mango tree which is the sthala virutcham aging more than 3500 years old and having four vedas as four branches and produces mango with four different varities.
