Virutcha Shasthra - Saturn Dasa - ketu bhukti

 The third sub period that comes in saturn dasa is ketu bhukti.For avoiding ill effects caused by saturn, one has to plant magila maram (Mimusaps elangi) according to virutcha shastra.It is called as மகிழ மரம் in Tamil.

The plant has to be planted on road sides, temple garden and public places.The plant has to be planted during first saturday morning of saturn dasa ketu bhukti period.Before one day of plantation, little bit of horse gram has to be immersed in water.After plantation the horse gram water has to be served to the plant.The horse gram should be given to goat or cow.
