Virutcha Shasthra - Mercury Dasa - Sun bhukti

The fourth sub period that comes in mercury dasa is sun bhukti.For avoiding bad effects caused by mercury, one has to plant nagalinga maram (Couroupita guianensis) according to virutcha shastra.It is called as நாகலிங்க  மரம் in Tamil.

The plant has to be planted on sides of pond, temple garden and public places.The plant has to be planted during first sunday morning of mercury dasa sun bhukti period.Before one day of plantation, little bit of wheat has to be immersed in water.After plantation the wheat has to be served to the plant.The wheat should be given to birds.
