Virutcha Shasthra - Mercury Dasa - ketu bhukti

The second time period in mercury dasa is ketu bhukti .To avoid any ill effects by mercury, according to virutcha shastra one has to plant adappa maram tree. .It is called அடப்ப மரம் in Tamil.

The adappa maram can be planted in temple premises and river sides.The adappa maram has to be planted on first saturday of mercury dasa, ketu bhukti period in the morning.Before the day of plantation, little bit of horse gram should be immersed in water.After plantation, the horse gram water should be given to adappa maram plant.The horse gram should be given to cow.
