Pithru dosha is a dosha, that is caused by combination of sun or moon with ragu or ketu.in one's astrological birth chart.It cause severe problems to a family member and it will be a life long problem for the one who is having it. It may also continue through several generations.Birth of disabled children is one of the indicator of this dosha.For this problem there is a temple called navabashana navagraga thirukovil situated in devipattinam in ramanathapuram district.The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.

The temple is situated at a distance of 14 kms from ramanathapuram.Speciality of this temple is Lord sri rama has installed navagrahas in sea by making it from sand.Every one can touch and offer pithru parihara.
