Madhuvaneswarar Temple - For attaining moksha

People who want to attain moksha are not attracted by world's materialistic things live a simple life.Their thoughts will be solely fixed on simple things that will lead to their preferred destination of attaining the feet of lord.

People who have finished worldly things can visit a temple called madhuvaneswarar temple situated in a place called nannilam in thiruvarur district of tamilnadu.This temple is said to be built more than 1000 years ago.


Bairavar and sun are near by installed which is considered to be a rare one.Sun and Jupiter face each other face to face as all other navagragas are installed facing sun.Chitragupta idol is also installed in a separate temple. 

During tamil month of maasi, people take bath in temple pond and worship lord shiva and amman  to get all good worldly things.During pradosham and egadasi people worship lord siva and amman to attain moksha.
