Vedapureeswarar Temple - Sunlight worship

South Indian temples are built in such a way that main deity will receive sun light on particular days in a year.Especially this feature can be seen in Siva temples. But a temple situated in a place called seyyaru in thiruannamalai district receives sunlight all 365 days in a year. This is very special one.

When people come to a place called mahamandapam, they can clearly see and worship lord siva, amman, lord vinayagar, lord muruga, navagraga and temple tree clearly. This is considered very special as no other temple has this feature. This temple is more than 1000 years old.

Palm fruit is given as special food for people who are having problems in getting a child. Palm fruits are from the palm tree inside this temple. They are given to devotees after pooja.

Nagalinga abishegam :

This temple is situated on the way of thiruannamalai to chenai through  cheyyaru.
