In jupiter dasa, ragu bhukti will be the ninth sub period.For avoiding ill effects of jupiter placed in unfavourable places in one's astrological chart, one has to plant poovarasu maram (Thespesia populnea) in front side of house road sides and pond side as described in virutcha shastra.It is called பூவரசு மரம் in Tamil.

The plant has to be planted on first tuesday of jupiter dasa rahu bhukti.A day before plantation, little bit of black gram should be immersed in water.The next day poovarasu maram should be planted and black gram water should be served to the plant.Black gram should be given to cow.
